One girl. One secret. One world on the brink.
Eighteen-year-old Auren Trask has spent her life yearning to escape her overprotective foster father, Kado. When he forbids her from joining her friends on a camping trip to Luten Isle, she sneaks away—only to find herself caught in a sudden Galvadi invasion.
As enemy soldiers sweep across the island, Auren relies on the survival and combat skills Kado has drilled into her since childhood. But her rescue raises unsettling questions. Kado moves through danger with impossible stealth, summons a mysterious mist and knows far more about the war than any ordinary courier should.
Then he reveals the truth: shadow stalkers are real, Auren is one of them, and she is the delohi-saqu—the prophesied figure the Galvadi emperor will destroy at any cost. Pursued by an empire and burdened by a destiny she never chose, Auren must leave everything familiar behind and follow Kado to the hidden Dark Isle, where her true training begins.
The Hidden Truth launches an epic fantasy adventure of forbidden powers, buried identities and a young woman caught between prophecy and choice.
